June 2024
Saturday June 1st- 10-noonish Basic tooling with Chuck Berry 10-noonish. Join us as we cover the basics of floral carving. We will provide the pattern, leather and tooling block; you just need to bring your tools and hunger to learn. Class fee is $35. We do require an RSVP to insure we have enough room for each student.
Saturday June 8th- Chisolm Trail Leathercraft Guild meeting 10-Noon. Join us as folks from all over the state share their passion of doing leather work. Everyone is welcome and there is no charge to attend.
Saturday June 22nd- Carved basket weave tooling with Chuck Smith. We are going to provide the parts to build a leather mouse pad. In this hands on class each student will carve and stain the top panel and then Chuck and K.C. will help you get the pieces sewn together so you leave with your own custom mouse pad. The template we will use is provide by MLS and available here at Traditions! The cost of this class includes all material and will run $65. We do need everyone attending to RSVP so we can get the parts cut out in advance. Class time is 10-2:00.
Saturday June 29th- Introduction so Sheridan Style leather carving. In this class we are going to show you the proper way to transfer patterns and carve the popular Sheridan style carving. Class time is 10-noonish and only runs $35.00

July 2024
Saturday July 13th 10-noon. Oklahoma Chisolm Trail Leathercraft Guild. Our guild meetings are open to the public. At each meeting we share our passion of doing leather work and will often have demonstrations teaching techniques. No RSVP necessary.

July 27th- Coloring and finishing with KC. This is a FREE class to attend where we will demonstrate the different process of applying dye, antique and finish to your tooled projects. Come ready to watch and ask questions as we show you the proper way to add color to your projects. This demonstration begins at 10 and will go until noon.
