2024 March class schedule

Saturday March 2nd 10-noon. Basic tooling with Chuck Berry 10-noonish. Join us as we cover the basics of floral carving. We will provide the pattern, leather and tooling block; you just need to bring your tools and hunger to learn. Class fee is $35. We do require an RSVP to insure we have enough room for each student.

Saturday & Sunday March 9th-10th Jesse Smith is coming from Colorado to share his NW tooling, drawing and stamping techniques with us. Jesse taught saddle making for 40 years and has a wealth of knowledge to share. THIS CLASS IS VERY LIMITED and almost full. The 2 day class is $200 and is being put on by the Oklahoma Chisolm Trail Leathercraft Guild. Class fee must be paid in advance by check or cash.

Saturday March 16th Join Michael Parham for an intermediate tooling and coloring class! Michael is an accomplished artist. He will share his passion of creating beautiful tooled and painted leather in a down to earth approach that anyone will benefit from. If you are new to carving or have been doing it for years we are sure you will pick up techniques that will improve you leather work. The class fee is $65 and must be paid in advance. We will meet from 10-3:00 and the pattern, leather and paints will be provided.

April 2024 class schedule

Saturday April 6th John Baker will be teaching a intermediate tooling class. In this tooling class John will use a Jim Linnell belt pattern and to into depth about how to improve you carving skills. We will also have time to go into coloring and finishing the project to help you create beautiful projects. The class fee is $100 and must be paid for in advance.

Saturday April 13th 10-noon. Oklahoma Chisolm Trail Leathercraft Guild. Our guild meetings are open to the public. At each meeting we share our passion of doing leather work and will often have demonstrations teaching techniques. No RSVP necessary.

Jesse Smith carving class

Jesse Smith carving class class will cover NW style drawing, carving and stamping techniques. Space is VERY LIMITED.
