November Class Schedule

November 1st- Basic carving class. In this 2 hour class we will show you the proper way to case your leather, trace a floral pattern onto the leather and how to carve it. You'll learn how to properly use your swivel knife, and the basic tools to create floral patterns. The class fee is only $35. Please contact us to make your reservation. Space is limited to 6 people. Class time is 10-noon.

November 8th - Chisolm Trail Leathercraft Guild meeting 10-noon. Everyone is welcome to join us as the guild members share their passion of doing leather work. There is no charge to attend. Bring a project for show and tell and be prepared to meet other folks from across the state that love leathercrafting!

November 15th - Book binding class with Chuck Berry. In this fun hands on class each person will make their own leather journal like the one pictured above! We provide all the materials. The class fee is $65.00. Bring your own tools if you have them. A mini punch, pencil, edge beveler and box knife is what you'll use. (Tools available for purchase if you need any). Class time is 9:00 - 3:00 with a 30 minuet lunch break. There will not be time for tooling. Class is limited to 6 people so a paid RSVP is necessary.

November 22nd - Basic stamping class. In this 2 hour class we will show you the proper way to lay out a boarder and how to use a basket weave stamp. You'll learn how to properly use your swivel knife, beveler, basket weave and a boarder stamp to create your own basket weaved projects. The class fee is only $35. Please contact us to make your reservation. Space is limited to 6 people. Class time is 10-noon.

November 29th - No Class. Shop small Saturday so please join us to stock up on your fall craft needs!!

It is show season!

Traditions Leathercraft will be attending the Wichita Falls, Tx Boot & Saddle Round up on October 3-4th.

At the end of the month you will find us at the Pendleton Leathercraft Show in Pendleton, Or on October 31 and November 1st.
