August class schedule
Sept 6th- Basic stamping class. In this 2 hour class we will show you the proper way to lay out a boarder and how to use a basket weave stamp. You'll learn how to properly use your swivel knife, beveler, basket weave and a boarder stamp to create your own basket weaved projects. The class fee is only $35. Please contact us to make your reservation.
Sept 13th - Chisolm Trail Leathercraft Guild meeting 10-noon. Everyone is welcome to join us as the guild members share their passion of doing leather work. There is no charge to attend. Bring a project for show and tell and be prepared to meet other folks from across the state that love leathercrafting!
Sept 20th - Tall card wallet class. In this class we are going to use our Tall Card Wallet template and take you through all the steps of cutting out the parts, punching the stitching holes, adding Tyvek pockets. We'll used a finished leather to make the wallet instead of a tooling leather to save time. The class fee is $45.00 and we can take 6 students. You will need to bring a wing divider, diamond stitching chisels, and an Exacto knife. This will fill up quickly so a paid RSVP is necessary to attend.
Sept 27th - Basic floral tooling class. We will teach you how to properly case your leather, transfer a tooling pattern and how to use a basic set of tools to create your own floral carved projects. This two hour class is only $35. Tools are required, but TLC has basic sets available for purchase if this is your first time tooling! Class time is 10-noon. Please RSVP.
