September Class Schedule

Sept 6th- Basic stamping class. In this 2 hour class we will show you the proper way to lay out a boarder and how to use a basket weave stamp. You'll learn how to properly use your swivel knife, beveler, basket weave and a boarder stamp to create your own basket weaved projects. The class fee is only $35. Please contact us to make your reservation.

Sept 13th - Chisolm Trail Leathercraft Guild meeting 10-noon. Everyone is welcome to join us as the guild members share their passion of doing leather work. There is no charge to attend. Bring a project for show and tell and be prepared to meet other folks from across the state that love leathercrafting!

Sept 20th - Knife Sheath making class through the Oklahoma Knife Group. To join this class contact them at (405) 778-2004.

Sept 27th - Tall card wallet class. In this class we are going to use our Tall Card Wallet template and take you through all the steps of cutting out the parts, punching the stitching holes, adding Tyvek pockets. We'll used a finished leather to make the wallet instead of a tooling leather to save time. The class fee is $45.00 and we can take 6 students. You will need to bring a wing divider, diamond stitching chisels, and an Exacto knife. This will fill up quickly so a paid RSVP is necessary to attend.

October Class Schedule

Oct 4- No class this weekend. We'll be set up at the Wichita Falls, TX Boot & Saddle Expo.

October 25th - Lacing and stitching. In this basic class we'll teach you how to lay out and punch holes for saddle stitching as well as lacing. We will cover how to do a double loop lace and how to saddle stitch. This class is just $35.00. Lace, thread and needles are provided, but you will need to bring your lacing and stitching chisels as well as a set of wing dividers.

Traditions Leathercraft will be attending the Wichita Falls, Tx Boot & Saddle Round up on October 3-4th.

At the end of the month you will find us at the Pendleton Leathercraft Show in Pendleton, Or on October 31 and November 1st.
