Saturday June 7 - Basic floral tooling class. We will teach you how to properly case your leather, transfer a tooling pattern and how to use a basic set of tools to create your own floral carved projects. This two hour class is only $35. Tools are required, but TLC has basic sets available for purchase if this is your first time tooling! Class time is 10-noon. Please RSVP.

Saturday June 14th - Crossbody bag making with Rose Karr. In this hands on class each student will take our Vintage line leather and create their own crossbody bag! Rose has designed this bag to be carried as a crossbody bag or as a waist carry bag. You'll be provided with a pattern to take home and all the materials to create your own bag just in time for a Father's Day gift. The cost of this class is $100. Each student will leave with a finished bag. Class starts at 9:00 and will go until 3:00. Your paid RSVP will ensure a spot in the class. Limited to 6 people.

Saturday June 21- 10 am- noonish. For Father's Day weekend we are inviting you to bring Dad to create a leather belt for you and him! TLC will provide all the tools and materials for you and him to make your own heavy duty leather belt. Time will not allow for tooling a belt, but you will leave with a finished leather belt that you make.

The best part (other than spending time with Dad) is the cost for each person is only $35. You can't even buy a finished belt of this quality. Call, email, or come by to prepay so we can make sure there is room for everyone.

Saturday June 28th - Basic stamping class. Join us from 10-noon and we'll teach you how to lay out a boarder, cut and bevel it, and how to properly use a basketweave stamp. Bring your own tools and for the class fee of just $35 TLC will provide the leather and tooling block for you.

July 5th - No class this weekend.

July 12th - Chisolm Trail Leathercraft Guild meeting 10-noon. Everyone is welcome to join us as the guild members share their passion of doing leather work. There is no charge to attend. Bring a project for show and tell and be prepared to meet other folks from across the state that love leathercrafting!

July 19th - Fringe cowhide purse making class with Rose Karr. The class will kick off at 9:00 am and go until we all finish your own purse. We will be teaching you how to block dye the small cow skull trim piece, and you'll cut out your own purse from a cowhide rug and learn how to assemble these. In the class we will be using our precut fringe, but we will demonstrate how to cut your own fringe. Each bag will be sewn on our Cobra sewing machine so that you leave with a finished bag. Class fee is $125.00 and all materials are furnished! There is only space for 6 students, but we plan to hold this same purse making class in August in case you don't get in this month. Traditions Leathercraft is family owned and operated in Oklahoma City. We invite you to join our Traditions Leathercraft Maker's Only group on Facebook. In this group we share our work and it is a safe place to ask questions to expand on your leather working knowledge.
